Nettle Tea

The simplest way to enjoy those stingers. Don't worry — they lose their sting as soon as they hit hot water. Proper refreshing and full of goodness.

Ingredients

• 15-20 young nettle tops (wear gloves when picking!)

• 500ml water

• Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

• Lemon slice (optional)

Method

1. Wearing gloves, rinse the nettle tops well under cold water.

2. Bring water to a boil in a kettle or pot.

3. Place nettles in a teapot or large mug.

4. Pour boiling water over nettles and let steep for 3-5 minutes.

5. Strain into cups, add honey or sugar and lemon if desired.
